The Things We Do For Love
Your Heritage Story
Do you have a family heirloom that's more precious to you than gold? This cameo is one to me.
It was one of the few possessions my grandmother had when she was forced to flee Eastern Europe while in her teens. Her own mother gave it to her as a keepsake. My grandmother made sure that it was passed down to my Aunt, and I inherited it. When I think about it, this cameo survived World Wars I and II, the Great Depression, and decades more to end up in my hands. Of all my jewelry, it is the most precious, because it represents my love for my Grandma, my Aunt, and our family heritage.
